hey what's up? Im about to install a 255 walbro fuel pump high output. I was just wondering would that be okay without an adjusatable fuel pressure regluator? Thanks

Don't install the Fuel pump UNTIL you get the AFPR........or get the 190 pump, what are your goals?

Well I found a couple of threads with a couple of members not usind an AFPR and stated that it shouldnt have affect at WOT. I just finish installing the pump so im going see what happens and let you guys know. As for my goals I have a Big16g, Yonaka Fmic,
Rc 550cc, Walbro 255hp, Safc2 looking to see around 280hp for now

With 550cc injectors you'd be better off with a Walbro 190 or an EVO 8 fuel pump. The 190 pump is good for about 400whp.

Even if you don't "see" any FPR issues during idle or deceleration, that doesn't mean that its not there. With the 255hp, IF YOU WANT TO DO IT RIGHT, you need an AFPR.

Just because one fool THINKS he can and 12093104 say dont...why would you listen?

Every thread like this is the same...everyone says get one and one tard says dont and the OP says well Hes not, so I wont.

IT IS NOT GOOD, DONT DO IT. TUNING WILL SUCK AND YOU WILL OVER RUN YOUR STOCK REGULATOR, DONT MOLEST YOUR CAR> Do it right.

Thanks for all your guys help:thumb: Took the car for a drive and its boosting fine and everything seems fine. I raised up the boost to 18psi and everything seems fine diffently pulling harder. My next step is to get that AFPR asap. :dsm:
