I purchased my GST with the TMO Stage III chip already installed. Problem is when you press the clutch rev limiter sets to 5k. I tried to set the limiter to 4k but I can't get the boost gauge sequence to set on the -14 point, it just sits still. Does anybody have the instructions for a 2g eprom? Since TMO only has the instructions for the 1g on their site.

P.S. Thanks in advance :thumb:

Uhhhm Yeah.

Insert Ignition Key
Rotate to run position
0-100% GAS PEDDLE multiple times while watching factory boost gauge for appropriate setting.

Tried that a million times, the boost gauge goes nowhere

Which chip do you have? TMO != Keydiver

I had this same problem in my 1g once. For some reason, I had to run a ground from the idle stop switch to the battery. Then it worked fine.

You must have been missing the brass ground strap that runs across the top of the TB from one of the four studs to the screw on the top. Without it the gaskets on the TB tends to insulate the casting from the engine grounds and the 1G IPS needs a good TB ground to work.

The usual suspect when the selection process isn't working is to check that the IPS is functional. Are you running a 6 bolt swap? If so which TB did you use and which TPS?

Steve

Any way to test the IPs? Im running a stock 7 bolt. I know the TPS is working cause its reading fine on my SAFC. The NLTS is working too. I would really like to adjust the stutterbox before I head to the track tonight, but I can't get the TMO to move settings.

Measure the resistance between pin 3 and 4 on the TPS. You should read continuity (0 ohms) when the throttle is closed and open (infinity) when the throttle is open.

Steve

You got it right on the dot, the TPS wasn't set right, set the continuity and it works perfect. Thanks alot
