Here is the deal, I just got my six bolt stroker swap running and I have a few bugs to work out. I have never had a 2g before and I bought the car broken down so I have never driven it either. Here are my two problems
1. My power steering is just fine as long as I am already in a turn. As soon as I move the steering wheel back to top center and over to the other side, I hit a dead spot of roughly 1/10 of a turn of the steering wheel. I am pretty sure I need to replace the rack but I just had a thought that it could be that I have a external power steering fluid cooler. It is the smallest oil cooler I could buy from Auto Zone. I thought perhaps that could be restricting the fluid but I am almost positive it is the rack, any input is appreciated.
2. My brake pedal the first time i push it will go 3/4 to the floor before it gets firm. If I pump the brake again it will go a little less than half way down and get firm. If I pump it a 3rd time it will be firm immediately. I am almost positive its the master cylinder but I also thought that perhaps it could be air in the lines but I bled the crap out of them after the engine install.
Thanks guys.
