now I have looked around to try and see if I could find an answer but I figure this will get me better luck than I had. I just installed a MBC and Boost gauge. I hooked the boost gauge up to the vacuum port on the firewall. Anyhow no matter what i set the boost controller at the gauge won't read any higher than 10 PSI. I know it has to have been higher than that because at one point the car would pop and cut out at 5000 rpm. so I brought the controller back out but the gauge never reads over 10 psi. Any ideas? Thanks

Ok did you make sure the vaccum you hooked it up to was for the turbo boost reading??? Also have you checked to see if you have a boost leak anywhere??

I tapped into the vacuum line on the left just like most forums on here show, and as for a boost leak I mean I haven't done a boost leak test but The thing runs very strong and solid except for when i obviously turned the controller in to much.

Did you hook the boost guage up before installing the MBC? If so, what was your boost readings?

Doublecheck the install, 10psi readings can indicate a couple of problems. The MBC is either installed incorrectly, or the MBC itself is broken. What kind of MBC is it?

Maximum Turbo Performance is the brand. I have the side port going to the wastegate and the bottom going to a T in the bov. Maybe the gauge is junk it is a cheapy
