I went for a ride last night, and the car boosted like never before.
I would hit up to 15 psi, then the car would cut out. (fuel cut maybe?)

So anyway, on my way home, The turbo started to spool than POP!. The car died. It was kinda loud. anyway, the car would turn over but not start.

So I pull over and find out that the alternator belt had come loose
I go home ad grab some tools and put the belt back on. The alternator starts to smoke, and since the bearing on it was already starting to screech I figured it was time for a replacement.

Since I was close to home (about a mile) I decide to attempt to make it home, keeping an eye on the temperature guage.. I almost made it. I had the car towed.

Next day after replacing the alternator, I realize I had a vaccum leak. The lower intercooler pipe had blown off. I re-clamped it.

So I try to start the car and it will attemp to start, meaning it will fire up, but die immediately, unless I rev it, but as soon as I let go it dies.

I had the alternator tested and It is in good condition. I mean I went to autozone and they tested it. The charging system light does stay on (dimly).
I have compression on alll cylinders.

I need help.

Thanks

I have been reading aand searching and I am concerned. Does it matter which direction the alternator turns other that for cooling purposes? Will it still generate amperage regardless of which directionn it turns?

They tested my alternator at the parts place, but I didn't check which way they turned it...

I'm stumped.

I've got spark.
i checked the fuel return line and there was plenty of fuel going back to the tank. I think that means I have fuel pressure.
I've got compression.

looking at my vaccum guage, It doesn't move when I crank it. I'm not sure how much vaccum I'm suppose to have during cranking, but it doesn't really move.
I've checked for vaccum leaks, since I eliminated vaccum lines, it didn't take long.

I performed a boost leak test today and the injector seals were leaking. I replaced them but the car still does the same thing. It'll fire but die right away. now, I have to turn it over more than once before the car fires.

I wonder if it is a fuel pressure problem. I unplugged the Fuel Pressure Solenoid. Would that matter?

Thanks
