i just got a jdm evo 3 motor and i just got done dropping the motor in.everything is plugged in and i got the cas plugged in but the car still won't start. I have fuel, spark, and timing is good. Compression 155 straight across also i'm using the stock ecu and wiring harness any idea would greatly be appreciated.

If it is really the Evo 3 engine and not a VR4 it has larger injectors installed. Are you using the JDM ECU or the USDM ECU? If it is the USDM you will end up running pig rich without some sort of fuel control.

Aside from that...

What is your fuel pressure looking like?

Do you check for spark at all four cylinders or just one?

ok i'm using stock ecu eprom if it matters. And cas how do i check that. Also i checked all four sparks

ok i played around with the firing order and it fired right up thanks for the input guys
