I recently purchased a 1996 talon tsi. The check engine light was on when i bought the car. I scanned the computer and the code that is coming up is PO443. The car also has a dejon tool intake and the line that runs from the charcoal canister to the intake is not hooked up becaust the intake does not have a nipple to hook the line up. I was wondering if this line not being hooked up would throw this code. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have to get the car inspected soon and need to get the check engine light off ASAP.

yes plug that hose off, then unhook your battery for approx. 5-10 min. to reset your ck.engine light ie (cel) and see if it comes back on
