I just recently did a 6 bolt swap on my 96' gst. i heard about the misfires and have researched a lot about it and the only thing that i have found to get rid of the misfires is goin with DSMlink. and i aint in that budget range at all. so i was wondering if it is possible to use a 1g ecu and if that would get rid of my problems with misfiring.I took this 6 bolt engine out of a 92' gst and also have the ecu from this car. i was just wondering if i could use it in my 2g with little or no mods done to it. somebody please get back at me ASAP. thanx.

No, it sounds like the work of making the harness adaptor and figuring out how to drive the additional ECU controlled accessories would be outside your abilities.

Talk to Keydiver, I think he has a chip the eliminates the random missfire but you will need a 2G EPROM ECU just like you would to run DSMlink.
