Car won't start!

Okay so i just pulled the charcoal canister and changed my throttle body, car ran for a week and now it won't start. I have an aeromotive fpr with a gauge and when i try to start it the car gets fuel pressure, so i am guessing it's not getting spark or the timing is off... i am going to check the spark and if im not getting any i will check the coils. i'm just wondering if anyone else might have any other tips....

Check the transistor pack as well.

I think you are on the right track, compression check, and spark check are the next things to look at.

How do you check the transistor pack? i dont see it in the haynes manual.... ill look again but if anyone has a write up or anything, that would be awsome...

Haynes won't have it, but if you can find the "Chilton's total car care" manual, it has the procedures in it, also for checking the cam angle sensor if it comes to that.

You dont test the transistor, you check the things around it and eliminate it.

yeah i got the haynes manual and i found the transistor pack in it but its hard to understand from the haynes book i just ordered the chilton's...

im not getting spark i tested it the other day so imma test the coil and the transistor.

what do i have to test around the transistor pack? the coils? battery? and what else? also what coils work with what years? for a 92 can i only use another 92 coil pack?

91-92-93-94 will all work for coil packs. Check that, the cas, the battery voltage at the transistor. Make sure no fuses are blown and that the cams are spinning.

It's mounted on your intake manifold down behind your fuel rail.
