little town,
I'm really stumped on this one. I searched until I was blue in my face and it seems that I cannot find a thread with a similar problem occurs. When I was running my big Evo 3 16g, I had no problems. Then I decided that I wanted to go bigger and bought a t3/t4 50trim turbo kit from AMS and but a set of hks 264/264 in as well. Once I had everything installed there wasn't any problems. I started having this problem about 2 months ago where if the car only builds around 10psi of boost its fine but anything over that it cuts like like mad. The more boost I run the lower in the rpm range it cuts. I pretty sure that its not fuel cutting because I was running the 680cc's and the dsmchip with the big evo 3 16g and it ran fine with no fuel cut. I changed my spark plugs cause I had a gap of about 1.2mm and it seem to help out a little bit. Since that it cuts around 4500rpmish where before it was cutting 3000-4000 on about 14-15psi. On the way home today (with newly installed COP), the car cut on the freeway which is only about 1km from where I work. But about 8km from work when I stepped on it again, it pulled right up to about 5500rpm then I had to let off cause i gained on the car in front of me too quickly. I was hoping that some of you guys might have some ideas as to where I should start.

Im thinking that its ignition related cause it happens some times but not others. However, I don't think that its possible but could I be blowing out my spark with COP and on only a 50trim? I'm not running a MSD box and my profile is up todate. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Depending on the day, if its fairly cool out it will cut out. If its warmer it won't cut as bad. I just thought about it now I haven't done a boost leak test with the new setup. I'm going to try that unless you have some other suggestions?

Thanks
