Ok i have a 93 tsi, My car had a slight vibration when driving so I took it to discount tire to get my tires balanced. I pull out of discount tire and start driving down the road and my car started shaking like an earthquake. So I turn around and go back to discount tire, I made them rebalance the tires and give me new hub rings, Still doesnt fix it. So I go back and have them lift my car up on the lift, to try and figure out what the hell was going on. I pushed my rotor from front to back and found out that my whole lower control arm was moving! So I drove it home at 30mph (shaking like hell.) I just did a search, now I was wondering if this could cause this violent shaking? I was reading that the LCAs rust away and that its pointless to replace the bushing, because the control arm will just move inside the new bushing. So I guess my questions are: Could that cause violent shaking and if so should I just replace the bushings or the whole control arm.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
