Does anyone know what this relay is for? There are two relays in the center console above the starter relay and fuel pump relay. They say E8T101 on them. One of them clicks when I try to start the car and I do not get any kind of movement under the hood. All electrical items seem to work. I thought at first my starter relay was bad but found this relay making the clicking/buzzing sound. Does anyone know what this relay is for or controls? The part number in WinCAPS only says eng. control relay.

Thanks,
Josh

The clicking one is the MFI relay (when key turned to on). The one to it's left is the fuel pump relay (activates only while cranking or engine is running). The starter (on right) and door lock relays are below these. Note: starter relay only activates to disable the starter.

Ok, so I need a new MFI relay. Is this something that needs to be ordered from a dealership or will any old parts place carry something like this? Is there something special about the relay?

My grandfather is a parts runner for National Auto. He got me one. It actually came as both relays atached to the bracket. I put them in and it still would not turn over. I looked at the starter and apparently the starter solenoid housing unscrewed itself as a bolt was just sitting in the bolt hole. The solenoid was completely unattached sparking against the firewall and misc parts. That sucked. I put it back together, tested it, and it works fine. Whenever I get my new coild pack installed I'll see if it starts.
