My problem is that I had to tune my car rich to rid knock and when I pulled my plugs, 1,3 and 4 cylinders are black (like i said, had to tune out knock) but one cylinder (#2) was perfect tan colour, plugs are bpr7es mods in profile are up to date, sorry i cant post a pic because i don't have a digi-cam. just pretend 3 very black and one tan. ;) compression is even 140 across. known small boost leak at t.b. Is it a possible vac leak @ injector seal? bent or burned valve? Injectors are only ~3 months old. (my engine is comeing apart soon anyways) Expert tuners please enlighten me.

Until you fix your boost leak and do a boost leak test, looking at your plugs won't tell you anything until you get the system sealed properly. What are the plugs gapped too?

all gapped at .028", but if the leak is at the throttlebody, then it would affect all cylinders. I'm looking for someone who has had this problem, not a guess. I tried searching alot. Thank you

when i did a boost leak test a short time ago, the injector seals were not leaking, only throttle body. My car is apart now so, I cannot do a boost leak test.
