first its a 98 n/t. i started it up this morning and the temp outside was about 20-25 deg F. I gave it a lil rev and my motor went into a seizure, knocking and chugging uncontrollably.. so i shut it down and tried starting it again and it continued knocking and such and would barely turn over.... it finally did start when i gave it some gas then everything was fine.. i let it warm up for a few mins and it drove fine.. lately i have noticed a chugging noise when i drive but it goes away after about 5 mins of driving... the noise is a kind of chuga chuga (haha) when accelerating... im gonna give it a few hours to cool down and ill try to start it up again before work to see if it happens again.

any ideas though?

Try checking your coolant temp sensor. It determines how much fuel your motor gets on startup until it gets warm. If it is off the fuel mixture will be way off. Check your o2 sensor as well.
