Just finished the swap in my 95 tsi and used stock 2g head. the car cranks over, i checked plugs for spark and am getting spark on all cylinders... i looked for fuel, just unbolted the line that runs into the fuel rail and it had the fuel up there... i pull the plugs and there all oily... I really dont know what to do.. maybe check grounds?? check to see if the injectors are working... I need some ideas for tomorrow..

Also im not hearing my fuel pump at all... but fuel is in fuel rail so it has to be working right?? it dont have like a vac when its cranking or something does it?

I used the RRE Harness , i havent done the injector swap however i was told the car would fire just not run as nice as it could. I will be doing it but for now im just trying to see it run b4 i start putting the car all the way back together..

When i put a new motor in my GS-T, i found out the cam angle sensor was bad, my car would turn but wouldn't start. I had spark, fuel, and compression. Check your CAS to see if its in good working order. What fuel pump are you currently running? i can barely hear my walbro 255 when my car is turning over, check your ground on your fuel pump also. Post back and let me know how it goes.

You never stated that you ran a compression check on the engine after installing the head. That is always one of the first things I do after you get the timing set and double checked. I would check out your compression.

The cas came off my 91 talon that blew timing belt... so i figure its good since it worked b4 timing belt broke and blew head.

And compression test i still havent done that but i used a stock low end from my 91 and just installed a 2g head. But ill definitly look into both and then repost.

Oh and im just on my stock pump.

Edit: Also forgot to mention i dont have the ic pipes on and a couple sensors not pluged in yet. However I would imagine the car would start with the things I havent hooked up.. 02 sensor, and 2 sensors over by the trans i have yet to find were they go.
