So I was driving yesterday and all of a sudden I see white smoke start pouring from under my hood. I quickly pull over and turn off the car. As I open the hood I see that my upper radiator piping has popped off. It also appears as if the point on my radiator where the tubing connects is breaking away, leaving less area for the tubing to hold onto. So I re-tightened the clamp and drove it home, only to find that the car would gradually overheat. I get home and pop the hood to find the hose still intact, yet my car was overheating. I am I also now getting a very eradtic idle now. Suggestions?

Get some new hoses(make sure the clamps are on properly), check your antifreeze, and watch your heat gauge.

new hoses will help? My anti-freeze seems to be at a good level.

Depending on how long you drove while the hose was off? If your car overheated, you may want to do a compression test to check the headgasket.

Also, if the part where the hose connects to is breaking away, the fragments could easily now be in your cooling system plugging stuff up.
