My Car Counts KNOCK When I Just Rev It Up On Average It Get To About 15-20 Counts And There Is No Boost Just When I Rev It Wont Go That High While I Drive Any Answeres Let Me Know Thanks

Has it always done this or did this start recently? When does the knock start (RPM)? Is the car modified? You need to give as much info as possible so people can try and provide accurate advice. It also wouldn't hurt to write in complete sentences without capitalizing every word either. ;)

i just bought the car so i have no clue how long it has been doing it i got a logger friday and saw what it was doing it does it at about 1000-1500 and kind of jumps from there it seems to do it when i first rev it but if i contiue to rev it goes away has a full exhaust and the guy who had it before me decided to hack the maf all the way so there is no honeycombs at all and thats the list of mods i felt the knock sensor and it feels dry i have heard that if there is a discharge then its going bad but felt none and thanks for the info!

Hey make sure you use periods. Its hard to read your posts.ROFL Does anyone know if the base timing is not correct if it will do this. The guy who had it before him was dickin with the CAS and Im pretty sure its off.It needs to be retimed with a timing light to get it back to correct timing.

Check your timing.
Do a boost leak check.
Look at your plugs - Is the gap correct? Are they fouled or covered w/ soot? Are the tops of your pistons black & grainy w/ carbon deposits?
Does the knock sensor have goo coming out of it?

I need to redo my timing the guy before me screwed with the sensor on the head. I just regaped my plugs. they seemed to look ok as well as the pistons. I checked the knock sensor and it had no goo it was dry!
