Oil light

Ive been drivng around for the last week and noticed my oil light was coming on. I figured it was bout time for my oil change anyway so i waited till today and went and got one. I leave the oil change place and the oild light still comes on. It flickers onand off at about 5-600 rpms but when my car idles at about 700 ish it doesnt come on. Is it just my idle?

It probably flickers at 5-600 because it is close to stall . Oil level good , Pressure good ? Could just be an old sensor . As long as you have oil and pressure your fine .
