I had done a compression test last night and everything was fine. Today I took the car out and came back and did another compression test. I pulled off the spark plug wires and the metal incert stayed on one of the spark plugs. Well I took this off the spark plug and put it back in the wire since this is what happened last night and I drove the car today with no problems.

After I was done and put everything back together, plugs wires mpi fuse and the spark plug wire connector behind the engine. I went to start the car and the car wouldn't start. So I pumped the gas to add some fuel and it finally started. I lt the car idle to burn the fuel and I pulled it out of teh garage and parked it. Well I go tback to the garage and there was some oil. Which I've never had it leak. I then went to the car and the was a huge pool under it. I cleaned that up and tried starting the car a gain and no luck until after a while of cranking on it this time while the car was running I looked to see where it was leaking and it was coming from around teh oil filter area. What happend? What should I do to fix it?

One likely has nothing to do with the other. Did you check the filter to see if it's loose or if any of the oil feed lines from the filter housing are dripping? Get under there and have a look.

Keep us posted,

Andy

I'll get under and check here in a sec. Why isn't the car starting right up why is it taking so long to start. I have to hold it in the onl position for 3 or 4 sec before it starts.

Thats true... I had a problem with my oil filter coming loose many times. Where u driving the car pretty hard?
Make sure its on there pretty tight because last time that happened to me my oil filter came loose at about 140 at WOT.... Lets just say... the whole driver side of the car was filled in oil from top to bottom and my buddy's civic was covered in oil about 10 cars back.

So always make sure the oil filter is on TIGHT.

Good luck

Yeah that was actually it I got out there and got underneath the car and the filter was loose. However the problem with the car not starting was seperate. I finally had a check engine light come on so this made it easy for me to find the problem. Some how the clip to my tps sensor had come loose. Now everything seems to be good.

Thanks guys I was worried there for a bit,
