99 eclipse GS NT auto trans.
I've been having overheating issues. I've replaced just about everything in the cooling system except the 2 temp sensors in the thermostat housing. When I got the car it had an aftermarket radiator fan already on it. It turns on, but my question is what direction should it be blowing? The factory fan for the AC blows towards the engine, and that is what the diagram on the shroud illustrates. The aftermarket fan blows towards the radiator (opposite of the factory fan). In fact, when it turns on I can feel it blowing hot air on my feet when I'm standing in front of the car. The diagram on it shows that as the direction it should blow by an arrow. Shouldn't both fans be blowing in the same direction? I don't have another eclipse to look at as a point of reference. Any help would be great!
