My car will not run with the MAS plugged in. I have replaced the MAS with a known good unit, as well as the ECU. Car idles fine without MAS, and drives fine except will not boost. I do not know where to start with this - it was working fine before I did a head gasket job on it. I do not think I missed any sensors - can someone throw some ideas out there?

Car is a 1991 Eclipse GSX
1gnt head with turbo cams
OEM HG
'93 eprom ECU.

Most recent underhood pics for troubleshooting can be seen here:

I am at a loss here. Car runs fine other than under boost. Already boostleak checked - it makes a bubbling sound like when you blow air into a straw which is in a cup with water in it. Timing is on.

Does anyone need any more information to be able to diagnose this problem? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I searched but could not find any information on the subject.

You may want to run a compression test, especially if you have just replaced the head gasket. This will help to verify that the gasket is sealing properly. You may also want to run the boost leak test again and try to isolate the leak you may have found. Has your car thrown any CEL's yet?

probably wont run with MAF plugged becouse the readings of the MAF are so much different of the actual amount of air entering the engine... so search for any intake leaks, not just the bov.
