Guys,

Got a 95 GST. Have a BOV under the hood. Now, when I start the car it dies but then again have to rev it just a little bit to help the idle go steady. But when I shift the gear the car won't go run normal and it makes a lot of noise and sounds like two pans bangin together under the car but both engine and transmission lights are not even lit. And one more thing, everytime I shift I could feel the vibration of the clucth pedal.

Couldn't figure out if it's the engine or the transmission are the problem?

PLEASE HELP !!!

i'm going to take a wild stab at this... what kind of BOV is it? and what do you mean by:

Your BOV is probably not recirculating. If I'm right then you need to recirculate back to the intake. Also check your fuel map settings, have a shop tweak it for you and it should rev steady when the car is turned on.

Do you aftermarket clutch. Did you just buy the car? I remember I had a 3puck on my car and it would vibrate/shatter if I reved it low. I had to rev to 2.5k for it to not shake on me..Give us more details. If you have time, have it diagnose by reputable DSM shop.

I was in first gear and it was doing fine but when I shift it to second it made a loud clanking noice under the hood and i tried to shift it to third the car won't even go further 10mph. Every time I rev it sound like when u put a ruler and let it hit with the fan.

I have HKS bov and APEXi timer and I do have aftermarket clutch. The problem is when I shift it to second gear that's when I heard a very loud noise under the hood and i shift it to third the car won't even go further 10mph and that's only when i rev but in neutral there's no noise.

What kind of aftermarket clutch? The HKS BOV isn't a recirculating type, so you need to get one that is able to recirculated. You can pick up a 1G BOV for wicked cheap around here.

Sounds like you probably have a broken spring in your clutch. I'd take it apart and have a look.

I'd go with what Zeppelin said. Drop the tranny and have a look. Make sure to check that the clutch is properly seated and torqued, and that the disc doesn't have any broken springs. Inspect the clutch fork and pivot ball along with the throw out bearing.

how long ago did you change your clutch?

same thing happined to me, but the piece that holds the throw out bearing in place when its not engaged, had brokem pff. I had to get a whole new bellhousing for like 150 bucks.

I'll have it towed and have a mechanic checked over the weekend. Will give you guy's
the result.

The engine gave up on me.

But will not give up this great car.

Once I get an engine, what do I need to do first to make my car Fast & Furious on the
street of Chicago?

There is a recirculation fitting for the HKS BOV which allows you to recirculate

So it is, in a sense, a recirculating type BOV ;)
