Ok heres the quick story: Ok after about 2 years of my car sitting in the driveway i finally got off my ass and decided to fix it. Got new motor, new turbo, new everything. BUt it still sat for a few more months up until i got the turbo, intake etc.. Ok so i go to the smog shop, and my check engine light comes on. I fail the test of course. Then i take it to to a 'smog repair center' and they do a diagnostic and tell me that i need 1) To adjust or fix my TPS sensor, 2) new catalytic converter, which i just bought a Buschur Racing Hi Flo one all for about 300 bucks. i was like just do the diagnostic and the TPS adjustment. I later found out i could have done the adjustment myself for free! basically i got ripped off i dont want to go into the details but lets just say the smog shop sent me to the smog repair shop said my problems were 1) and 2) and when they 'fixed' problem 1 they said i should pass smog and go back to the same smog shop, so i said to them oh so i didnt need a new cat did i?

Anywhoo i just left and later called a friend who called a friend who does smog check and told me that the readings i got suggested i needed a new O2 Sensor according to the readings, and to do the basics, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc..

Anyways i wanted a bit more feedback so ill post the readings here and please let me know what you guys think they mean!! This is the last step i need before i can finally get my car legally running and able to do the other things i need like get it tuned once i get the enamange etc..

Man i have no idea what these numbers mean in terms of whats wrong the friend of my friend said it's the o2 sensor and to get that fixed.

Please i really need help on this guys:)

Well I've never had the sniffer test done to my car, nor seen these readings, but I would have to guess that:

RPM :: Engine speed the test was sampled at
%CO2 :: Measured CO2 readings
%O2 :: Measured O2 readings
etc . . .

If you look at the %O2 readings, they are both 0.0 @ idle . . . which probably means that your O2 sensor is dead and in turn are running extremely rich.

So if that's the case, I would concur with your friend and get a new O2 sensor, plugs, wires.
 
Ah thanks tsunari, I ordered the NGK Peroformance Wires and NGK Iridium Plugs. Im also gonna go with NGK's O2 Sensor, unless you guys have some recommendations. They also said might as well change the fuel filter so i guess ill do that too. Anyways thanks for the feedback.

Also i was told that a 0.0 reading on the O2 readings was good???Not sure but I'll go with what you said and replace the o2 sensor. Another question though, we have TWO O2 sensors don't we?? Should I change both or just the one before the cat?

For spark plugs I would suggest NGK BPR6ES gapped @ .028".

O2 sensor . . . not sure which I have . . .probably an NKG/BOSCH/MITSU one.

And yes, there are two O2 sensors. The one right after the turbo is used for closed-loop fuel trim adjustments and the one after the CAT is compared to the signal from the front one to make sure the CAT is working properly.
