I have a 95 TSI the car starts perfect. If you let it idle until it is warm (15minutes) it will quit then when you start it, it sounds like it's running on 2 cylinders or flooding out for 13 seconds and quits....checked the plugs they were dark but dry..After it cools down it starts again...I started it, let it run for about 5 minutes took it for a 1 mile spin, at the end of the ride it felt like it was dyeing...I pulled it in the garage shut it off and it did the same thing...The gauge wasnt reading hot just normal.....When I bought the car it did this and there was a huge rats nest in the air filter leading to the turbo......I cleaned the air filter area and there was a screened section that didn't look like anything got through to the turbo.....Any ideas............please be gentle I dont want to spend alot of money...LOL...
