Starts, revs up, dies immediately afterwards.

When I start my car, it'll crank right over, rev up to around 2k, then drop down like it should to idle speed, and die. HOWEVER, if I give it gas, it'll stay running. Once it drops down though, it just dies. Any ideas?

i have a similar issue (still havent fixed it)

check your idle control motor, leaks, EGR, TPS, fiav and ECU
