rebuilt my 92 talon AT tranny 3 times and still only have 2nd and reverse!? please help me I pressure checked every clutch pack and lip seal can it be a servo? any help would be appriciated

Have you plugged a scanner in?

Most shops use the mt2500 snap on scanner, and it will give you a lot of information about transmission operation, including internal electrical component operational values.

Before you spend any money on professional diagnosis you can check a few things.

If the tcu doesn't see phase generator information, you'll be stuck in fail safe mode. There's two connectors under the air filter can area that can cause troubles in addition to the generators themselves. If you unplug the harness and check continuity across the harness pairs of the phase generators you should have ~215-275 ohms resistance @68* f. I've seen several transmission issues from the phase generators not being read at the tcu, and the problem was actualy in the harness, but those were turbo awd cars that had been driven hard and the harnesses themselves got crispy/crunchy and the wires just broke at the harness holdown brackets.

Please check the electrical side of the equation today, as what you're describing can also be caused by an electrical issue. Begin at the fuses,..and work your way thru the wiring diagram step by step...
