The proublem I am having I cant rev 2500 rpm . I have been pounding my head on the concrete for a week on this one . I think i have found the proublem. It seems that the oem fpr was stuck closed "I stuck it in a vice with a screw in the fuel rail side and tryed to get it to move open wouldnt move at all" I also noticed the smell of fuel in the oil that was just changed. So what i think was happening to me was that I had 55psi of fuel pressure in the rail when I should have had 27.. so the injectors were dumping twice the fuel they should have been ..hence a mega rich condition..Does anyone else think this could be my proublem? I am waiting on my after market afpr now Ill let ya know if this solves my proublem.. I got the car a month ago from my father it was sitting in his garage for a year and a halph. I couldnt even get the hood open so I had to tow it to my house. Didnt want to smash the grill on his baby in front of him. First thing I discovered wrong was the turbo was seized. It has since been replaced with the big 16g..still havent got it to run right yet "yet". Sorry for the long post

are you running an after market fuel pump? sounds like you may have over run or ruinded the spring in the fpr, double check and make sure you arnt running and after market pump if your not then just replace it with a stock one and hope that was an issue.. if you are then get an adjustable fpr and guage and dial er in proper.

stock pump.. but couldnt get the stock fpr to open and the return line to the tank was dry

The stock FPR should open if you blow any more than about 25lbs of air into it (that's how I test mine off the car).
Since you're running the stock fuel pump, it's pretty safe to say that your FPR probably just took a crap.

similar thing happened to me, swapping out the FPR made it all better :thumb: So it looks like you've found your problem :)

Ok the fpr doesnt seem to be the proublem..i replaced it with an ajustable one and at the proper psi car does the same thing..Its dumping way to much fuel..fuel is getting in the oil.anyone else got any ideas

Since we are talking about oem fpr. I have searched and searched is there a way to have a fp gauge on a stock fpr if so please tell me thanks.

With the help of local dsmers it turned out to be my ecu I am awaiting on a new one thanks to all all who posted here ..I will remove soon and I am sure have a new post when I get my ecu with other much minor issues.
