Ok here it goes, I have a 95 talon Tsi FWD W/ a 91 six bolt that i just dropped in. I now have two problems.

1. When i first start the car, it idles at 2500rpm. When it warms up its at 1600rpm. I tried messing with the BISS but its not that. Can it be the ISC or TPS?

2. I want to keep my power steering. Before I get fed up and cut the damn belt off, I'll try to see if anyone can help me. When i fill the PS bottle, the power steering is fine...for a few hours. It looks like its leaking from both the passanger and driver side by the firewall. I checked and it looks like both the boots, i guess on the rack and pinion, are ripped. Can I change them myslef, or does the entire rack n pinion need to be replace. About how much will this cost? Is there a DIY for this?

Any info will be great:talon: :talon: :talon:

Okay well first for your idle problem. It could be your tps but there is a sort of set screw on your intake manifold. I would try messing with that. If you need i will take pics of it and show you where its at. Now for your second prob. Yes you can change them yourself but you would be better off taking it to an alignment shop and it will probrally cost you around $100 depending on what you need.
