So I knew I had some bad boost leaks because my car would boost, but it wouldnt go anywhere. So I did a boost leak test and found leaks every where.
I had 2 coming from my intercooler.
1 from my bov.
1 really really bad one from a stripped screw on my throttle body.
and 3 from 3 of my injectors.

I fixed the intercooler one. I fixed the bov one (I don't know how those screws just loosend themselves). I had no idea how that throttle body screw got stripped...and I couldnt fix that just yet. And I couldnt not fic the injectors because I think it's just the worn out o-rings leaking.

And when I went to see where these leaks were coming from, I sprayed some leak detector spray on the the parts that I thought were leaking.

So the problem is, I drove the car the day after I did the leak test, and when I came to a stop, my rpm would drop to almost 0. (or maybe I should say 500, since that is where the tach starts). But the weird thing is...the car wouldn't stutter, or bog, or anything. The rpm would just come very low, then randomly go back to perfect, rock solid 750.

I have no idea what could have caused this....sometimes the rpm drops, sometimes it doesnt. The only thing that I think could have happened, is maybe some of that leak detecor fluid leaked into the injectors? That doesnt seem very likely...but I dont know what else could have caused this.

Any ideas?

Is your BOV recirculated or not?

no, its open to atmosphere.
But, I was not having any problems with it before I did the leak test.

Oh ya, also....Anyone know what could be leaking boost behind the intake manifold?
There is a very loud leak coming from somewhere behind, or underneath the manifold...but I just cant find it. Anyone have any idea?

Did you remember to plug the MAF back in after you reinstalled the intake? I forgot to do mine on Saturday and that fixed it right up. :thumb:
