Ok like a month ago i started my car early in the morning and warmed it up for work, i came back outside like 10 minutes later and the exhaust was sputtering little puffs out really fast, So i get in the car and give it a rev and it barely went up 200 rpms. It wouldn't rev up normally, so i shut it off and turned it back on and it was fine. Well it happend again yesterday on my way to school but this time it lasted alot longer and eventually went away. I checked the plugs there ok, but the wires look kind of bad. Could wires cause that problem?

PS. Thanks in advance for any help. And im also going to hook up my logger tomorrow if its nice its stormy right now. :thumb:

What color smoke? If it's black, the car started rich. Could be due to cold weather. I've had it happen to me and I don't think it's anything to be worried about.

If it's white smoke, that's just steam so no worries there. If it's blue, then we may need more info to help you troubleshoot better.

I know its just steam but it doesn't like to free rev so to speak, like i press the accel. down say 50% but it will only rev up like 100 or 200 rpms.
