Ok so this weekend i decided it was time to turn the boost up past 15 psi. Well i backed the screw out about 2 turns on my turboxs mbc (yes the correct direction) and it would shoot up to 17psi then drop off to 15 then come back to 16. So i screwed it out some more tonight because it was only getting 15psi, and it didnt do anything. Im assuming that i have a boost leak somewhere because i have the screw backed out to almost flush with the top of the boost controller also sometimes when at wot near 15 psi or so it will start to backfrie/pop. So im assuming that i have a boost leak and my system can only hold 15 psi. I also would like to know how much boost i can theoretically run using the turboxs mbc. My local dragstrip opens this friday and a few local dsmer are going out and i want to get this nailed down before then so i can run 17-18 psi on race gas.
Also where cant i get 2.5in outside diameter hose so i can finish off my boost leak tester i asked at advance auto and the hardware store.

You should be able to get a 2 1/2" piece of hose from any hardware store. Check the plumbing section. I believe 2" plumbing house is actually close to 2 1/2". Dont ask me why, thats just what I found. I also have a turbo XS MBC and when I first hooked it up i ran about 20psi but now im at about 15.
