I recently noticed that the Throttle % on the AFC was reading 0.0%. I figured that the wire probably just came loose. I checked the grey wire that was tapped into the ecu wire and the connection is still solid. Its not my TPS because on my logger it reads mt Throttle % fine. What else should I check into?

Thanks

What did you use to tap the wires because if you bused t-taps I would pull it off and solder it. sometime t-taps look like they are good but the metal peice dosent puncture the wires insulation well enough and the connection eventually becomes bad.

What's the question? Is it reading 0 all the time?

The SAFC scales the output it sees so the lowest voltage it's seen is 0% and the highest is 100%. You can check the actual voltage using the sensor test screen and as long as the voltage is about 0.5v with the throttle closed at idle the TPS is on on a 1G.

That is it's OK unless it spikes or drops out when you morve the throttle :)

Thanks for the responses.. Last night I removed the grey wire and I soldered it in again to make 100% sure the connection is good.

Steve- Yes, the safc reads 0.0 at all times. When going intot the sensor test screen which one am I looking at? SO, thruout the range of stepping on the gas it should be .5v?

Ill go give it a shot.:thumb:

Thanks

I dont know if im looking at this right but when I look at teh THRT in sensor check, it scans from about .010-.020 Also, I just noticed in your thread to do it at idle. Those results were from being in the ACC mode.
