Having a problem wit my Balljoint and tie rods nuts

Im putting my balljoint and tierod back on my car and i go to skrew the nuts on and they dont skrew through enough to get a C-clamp on to tighten them. And the bolts that u put the nuts on spin i jacked the car up under the ujoint and managed to get one to thread enough to tighten wit a C clamp but the rest are hopeless. any suggestions ?

For the ball joints you can put your jack right under the lower arm (close to ball joint as possible) and lift the car there so all the weight of the car will force itself down on the joint stem so it can't turn so you can tighten the nut. For the tie rods ends, jerk them back and forth to get them to fully seat in the knukkle arm and then use a big clamp. The shaft is tapered so when pressing hard enough into the arm it will keep it from turning.
