ok, my car is running extremely rich and has hardly no power. as i get on it my boost gauge will go up to 9 psi, but as soon as i hit 5 grand the car quits pulling, and thats as far as the rpm will go, as it hits 5 grand the boost gauge goes down to about 4 or 5. i have did a boost leak test(nothing) did a intake leak down test (nothing) can anyone give me a clue as what it could be, any suggestions would be helpful, thanks

Can you explain how you performed the boost leak test? How long did you hold 20 psi in the system for?

I'd like to know also. From what you have written, it would seem something, albeit a loose clamp, tear, whatever, is off somewhere within your intercooler piping which is causing this problem. Is the intercooler cracked in anyway?

Before this happened, how high did your psi go?

I hooked a hose to the end of the turbo, put a pvc end cap in the end of the hose and put a vavle stem in the pvc end cap. i only left it hooked up for around 3 or 4 mins and nothing leaked off. there was no hissing sounds coming out anywhere neither. previous boost, not for sure, but everthing is stock on the car, I have never messed with anything on the car, other than trying to fix my idle surge.
