Hard to start after messing w/ vacuum lines

The other day I noticed that I had a boost leak. The vacuum line coming out from the TB towards the Selenoid on the right/front of the head ( I'm not sure exactly what it's called) was blown apart. So i plugged it temporarily which worked fine. After which I reconnected it to the selenoid. Now everytime I try to start my car it tries to crank over but won't go unless I give it gas and keep the ignition turned for 10 or so seconds. I'm not sure if the vacuum line and the problems are related but it happened around the same time. Not sure how to fix this or what it could be?
 
Ok so today I'm driving and I notice that my car in boost doesnt have as much power, I'm not running lean, I'm running slightly rich. I pull over turn off the car then start it back up and its ideling around 4k rpm. I pull on the cable and it idles slightly lower but bounces up and down between 2500rpm - 4500 rpm. I drive it home and the idle seems to lower while driving, now it idles around 1500rpm but I still have the problem where I have to turn the ignition about 10 seconds to get it to start. Im clueless!
 
i was sitting here trying to figure out which solenoid you were talking about and then i realized your non turbo.. LOL anyways post a pic that would probably help a bit
 
Problem solved. My EGR pipe has a hole in it :/ My alternator line melted on top of it then melted through the pipe I believe.
