alright... well cars been fine till like 2 days ago.. sometimes the voltage readout on the SAFC drops down to 11 then slowly drops down to 10. but the voltage at the battery is 13.8... all the connections are good. under the hood. voltage checks out good and everything. its just the power to the ECU drops down to about 12.5-12.6 or so when the safc reads only 10-11... anybody ever seen this before?

alt is good yet. its brand new with like 1500 miles on it.

just wondering if anybody else has had problems like this.. safc is installed the right way to.

You might check with a digital multimeter the input to the SAFC to compare it with what the SAFC is showing. If they are the same, then your power access point should be checked. If different, then possible SAFC situation.

Unless it's run through a resistor, the voltages should all be battery voltage.

Good Luck

yes i was...
its the same as the safc.... untill the safc goes down under 12v then its diff... multimeter never went below like 12.3-12.5 but safc goes way down to high 9s-10s when the voltage is that low to the ecu.. and car starts to run funny. because the safc isnt getting enough voltage.
