I have a (new to me) 95GST. It blows smoke out the back everytime i shift, also when i start it, it revs between 900 and 700 and dies a good bit of the time, and tops out at 80 mph. Does anyone have any ideas? I am not feeling any boost when the turbo hits. im so confused thanks for your time.

All mods have less than 5k miles on them, the modifications are as follows.. Performance Mods: 6 bolt Head swap, Big 16g turbo, Greddy 24r FMIC, Dejon 3" GM blow-thru system, MAFT translator, Hks ssqv bov, Hks cams, 550cc injectors, A'pexi N1 turbo back exhaust, Exedy stage 2 clutch, Act lightened flywheel, Rebuilt Tranny less than 3k miles, short shifter, Slotted and drilled rotors, Electronis: A'pexi SAFC II, Dejon dual stage mbc (change boost at flick of switch), Autometer boost, a/f, egt gauges, Viper alarm with keyless entry, JVC flip down cd player, Sony xplod 1000W amp with 2 10" subs, Slimline 12" fans, Exterior/Interior: 98 front end conversion with bumper and lights, tail lights, 17" rims with new Dunlop tires, Eibach lowering spring, Tokico adjustable shocks, black Tenzo R racing seats with harness, Also included with the car: Stock 95 front bumper, stock intercooler, 1g intake manifold, stock intake, stock mas, white tail lights, red tail lights,a new Battery, a new Altenator As said above these mods have only been on for around 5k miles and i'm trying not to forget anything, a new radiator was just put on when i put the fmic on, now for the bad, at start up , the power steering belts sqeaks for a few minutes until it is warmed up, i'm not sure why, the belt seems tight also a small amount of blue/black smoke comes out the exhaust when at wide open throttle, i was told by several people this is because of blow thru oil in the turbo and is normal.

This is what i was told when i bought the vehicle. Thanks again for your help.

Sounds like you have several problems. First of all the idle could be a boost leak, air idle control valve. Check all of your vacuume lines for leaks. Make sure your boost gauge works not the stock one. Make sure the timing is on. What size cams are you running. Also a thing to check is the ecu I know how the 1gs are don't know about the 2gs. The smoke could be due to lean or rich. What size is your fuel pump?

Well I already posted in your other topic, but I didn't see all your mods, so go ahead and refer to the other post I made and see if that helps.

Also, make sure your I/C piping is all fastened down. It's not uncommon for the I/C pipes to blow off of the GM MAF with a Blow-Thru setup.

As for the oil, most turbocharged cars you come across are going to burn some oil. Until it pours out the blue smoke, it probably isn't too serious.

my boost guage runs at 15psi with the hose attached to the dump and 25 with the hose off the dump.
