Ok, I did a search and apparently it is the sender that has to do something with causing this. Mine only does this while in motion and then pressing the brakes. More evident when it is hard braking. This does not happen while stopped and pressing the brakes. Only when in motion then applying it. I guess the motion of the car moving forward then applying the brakes. Something is touching interfering? My lower ic pipe is definitely pretty close to the area of teh sender/oil stuff etc. It's never done this before. Not until I installed my new set of lower IC pipes. Perhaps I don't have to replace anything, but only prevent 2 things from contacting while braking. That is what I want some opinion on. What and where I should start looking.

Try following the wire that hooks up to the oil sender all the way to the harness. It could be shredded, or there could be so much oil on it that it has an intermittent connection.

This may be too obvious, but have you changed your oil or checked its level recently? I had a car that would do the exact same thing, and every time I investigated, I found only about 3 qts. of oil in the pan (I ended up having a pretty big leak).

HUMZZZ....I'm a new member of the forum...and it's gettin' kidna freky when I read some posts. Same thing happens to me...but not all the time.
While driving only i press the brake hard sometimes, the oil light comes on and the lights and instrument panel goes a little bit dim+the engine tends to stall.
The IC pipe shouldn't be the problem...i think is something electrical problem..didn't figure mine out yet either...got a 95GST

Yea it only happens when I press the brake kinda hard.. then if I really press it more aggressively the light will stay until I let off the brake. It kinda lets me know when I'm pressing the brake. LOL Depending on how hard I press the brake determines if the oil light flickers or stays on. Lightly to medium results in flickering, while hard braking will result in the light staying on until I ease off. Again, very funny at the same time its like a warning for my braking. I know mechanically the motor is fine. Based on my logs on DSMLink and my oil levels/pressure is where it should be.

Siral3x unlike yours my car lights and instrument panel don't go dim and the engine does not stall.

RedTurboEclipse,
Do you ever get the flicker at idle when the car is fully warmed up?

No i never get the flicker at idle. It is something with the sender. When I'm braking it must have a reaction. Perhaps a wire loose, the motion of the car is making certain connections touch, etc.

I just wanted to update this, because I finally fixed the problem.

As i mentioned the oil light would flicker depending on how hard I pressed the brakes while in motion. During idle or slow braking it would not show. Only sudden quick brakes. The problem was because my lower ic pipe was very close to the light sensor. While stopped, or moving forward it would not touch, but when braking obviously the motor and stuff will move around, thus causing the pipe to ground the sensor and making the oil light go on. Easy fix, just cut the ic pipe so it wasnt so close, now no problem.
