ive tried an assortment of ace hardware racing fittings and i cant get a leak free seal at the waterpipe. i dont have any of the oem waterlines because the car came with an oil cooled t3/t4.

are there any special fitting people use to create either a barbed end or -6 connection at the waterpipe?

I used OEM lines, however I had to cut/bend the hell out of them, then use rubber coolant lines to connect.

Same here. I have OEM lines on my 3052. It is easiest to cut the feed line and run some rubber hose in the middle. I haven't had any problems with leaking. I got the return line to fit with a little bending.

i have a -6 line from the coolant neck running to the back side of the turbo and luckily that one has no leaks so i really just a solution for the the waterpipe to front side of the turbo.

do you have any pictures of what you've done?

I used -6AN to 1/4 pipe fittings. I had to cut 3mm off the pipe fitting end to prevent the fitting from bottoming out in the turbo. To seal the threads, I just used high temp permatex. As for the water pipe, I purchased a -6an to 3/8 pipe fitting and re-tapped the treads to fit. Once again I used permatex to seal the threads. I still have to bolt everything up in the car, but it should work fine. Oh, as for the hose fittings; I used 120 degrees for the return from the turbo, 30 degrees from the water pipe, 45 degrees to the supply from the turbo and clamped the hose to the supply from the thermostat housing.
