Hey just recently, more noteable after a drop in temperature and snowfall, my 95 N/T has been impossible to shift. (It can be done, it's just VERY difficult.) What I find wierd about this is when the car is off, it shifts through the pattern flawlessly, but when the car is on it's soo hard and it grinds and it is very hard to get it into any gear.:notgood:

Any ideas?

Thanks in advanced.

Move to Florida. That will help. Or you can do like everyone else and switch to a Synchromesh fluid. I used Mobil One 15-50 engine oil in mine as an experiment and so far it's done great. Easy shifting, and no other problems to speak of.

Several synchromesh fluids exist so it boils down to your personal preference.

Good Luck
