Have a few questions

I plan on buying a 2g gsx and was wondering how much horsepower can you get out of the stock 4g63 block before rebuilding? Also what would be the best list of parts to get into the 12's in the 1/4 mile?

The stock block has been known to hold well over 400HP on stock internals. However it is not wise to do. Anything over 425 it would be a good idea to upgrade the rods and pistons. To get into the 12's people have done this on a car with stock internals and just bolt ons. With a mod list something like this:

1) 16g
2) AFC
3) Exhaust
4) Injectors
5) Upgraded Fuel Pump
6) Boost Controller
7) Boost Guage
8) Hacked Air Box
9) K&N Filter
10) Upgraded Wires

depending on milage 400HP.. lots of different things that will change how much power you can put out on a stock motor.
