For automatic transmission 1g DSM, how can I take out the key if I shift to the "N" gear instead of the the "P" gear? Thanks guys......

The reason is I want to add a shift boot to make a MT look. Kinda strange, right?

you have to redesign the ignition system... the real question is why do you want to do this?

No no... I'm sure there's an easy way to trick the ECU into thinking "N" is "P." If someone can find me the wiring diagrams for a 1G, I'd be willing to help out - all I have are 2G manuals and diagrams...

It's not controlled by the ECU or any electronic module. It's all mechanical linkages and cables.

Yes, you are right. So I think I should work on the key cylinder or some place like this....... Anyone can help me and teach me how can I work on this?

Take off the bottom plastic cover around the top of the steering wheel shaft. While laying on your back underneath the steeing wheel, you'll see a white plastic bracket up near the key cylinder a couple inches long with a cable runnin to it. Remove the four small screwes holding it in.
