I got my 96 Talon a couple months ago and it had the telltale creaking when steering at low speeds. I figured it was the ball joints so I took it to Chrysler to get the recall service done. They told me it was all good and the squeaking went away. Then earlier this week, it came back, and suddenly as I'm coming out of a turn going 15MPH, BAM, it snaps. My passenger front wheel collapsed inward and the tire is sideways squealing like mad. I was barely able to steer the freaking thing but pulled over. I took it back to Chrysler and apparently they didn't replace the joint the first time, they only greased it. ####ers!

Anyway, they replaced the joints and it all seems good. Luckily I wasn't on the highway when it broke cause I would have wrecked for sure. Also there was no damage to the fender area or other parts because I was able to pull over right away. I'm not blaming Chrysler. Their service usually seems pretty good, I just got stuck with a bad mechanic the 1st time.

Chrysler tells me to F off then i go there because im mitsu. Good thing your safe. I have my ball joint and arm sitting right next to me here.....Im trying to figure out if its bad to put on.
