No Turbo Intercooler

Ok so someone looked under my hood and noticed that i dont have a turbo intercooler. Could this be the reason that my car jerks when warm, and only under boost pressure?

where do your i/c pipes go to?

i dont know, but the people that looked at my car said they followed them and there is no intercooler. i dont know what to took for

its in the passenger side fenderwell.

Look where those pipes lead (inside that fender area. I doubt anyone replaced the intercooler with piping. If they did you can buy one in the classifieds pretty cheapely.

just follow the piping yourself and look for a radiator looking thing thats a bit more shiny. it is about a foot by a foot and has two pipes connected to it. if it was relocated you should find it by following the pipes

if you dont see the pipes connected to anything except the turbo and the throttle body, then it was removed, the reason could have been just a leak in the intercooler with the owner not having funds to fix it or replace it.

i picked up a 1g smic for 25$, if you want a fmic you can find a cheap one off ebay with couplers and some piping for about 200$

1. Get on your back beside passenger wheel
2. Look under the front bumper right in front of the passenger wheel
3. Look for a large square radiator looking thing right behind the splash guard in the fender well
4. Make sure it's there
5. Tell friends that they're wrong
6. Enjoy being right
