My car is throwing code P0201. i was wondering if there is any danger to driving my car around while this code is on. It's Injector 1 Malfunction. i haven't checked to see if it's the injector itself or if it could be something else. If it isn't the injector anyone know what else it could be?

P0201 Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinder 1

This signifies that there is a problem with the circuit, meaning an electrical problem. The injector could be electrically shorted or open (meaning replace the injector), or it could be an issue with the connector on the injector. Check to see that it is on the injector the whole way.
Measure the resistance across the injector and compare it with the others. Also check the resistance of each wire. It's hard to do a voltage drop across the injector and wires considering the fact that they are pulse width modulated and a multimeter isn't fast enough to pick up the on/off pulses.

Hopefully that will get you in the right direction. :dsm:

Since this is the only thread I could find for p0201, has anyone else had this code and figured it out? So far I changed the injectors, plugs, wires, transistor, coil pack, and reset the code. The code has not come back on, but the car is still running sluggish. I checked for boost leaks also. Any other ideas? Thank You
