Welp, I just fixed my starter problem and now I noticed that my boost gauge is acting weird. :notgood: It sits at around -3 when the car's off and only reads 11~12 at max boost. And I haven't changed my mbc at all so it should still be reading 15-16 psi. Is there any way to adjust it? I have a autometer boost gauge, -30 hg to 20 psi.

Thanks

Well, I don't think it could be a boost leak. Because even when the car's off and it should be reading zero, it's reading about 2 or 3. Is there any way I can adjust it?

Some can be adjusted, either by wrenching on the nut on the back side of the housing and moving the guts around so that you're at zero, or by pulling the bulb and going through the hole with a screwdriver and gently mashing (or, stretching) the Bourdon tube to get zero.

Okay, I'll try and give that a go defiant. Except I emailed autometer to see if there's a warranty that would cover a bad gauge. I've never heard of anybody having this problem before, figures I'd be the one for it to happen to.LOL But I'm thinking if I tamper with it they won't cover it within warranty then.
