ECU Problems

Well Here's the problem. My car was runnin like crap and I couldn't figure out what it was. So i took it to a friends house for a diagnosis. We looked at the ecu just out af curiosity a low and behold there was the problem. One of my caps have seemed to 'explode' Which brings me to my problem I need help finding someone who sells an ecu for my car or a place where i can send mine off to get it fixed. By the way my car is a 90 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can get a used ecu from this site or other dsm sites even ebay. Your board is probably fried but it might not be and if its not you can just have the caps replaced. Take it to a computer store and they should be able to replace the caps for you.

One of my caps have seemed to 'explode'

Did it explode as in burned through the circuit board or leak brown goo onto the board?

well the top of the cover on the ecu is burnt and the under side of the board is burnt. its like the cap fried and i have a sticky ooze on the board.

Doesn't sound promising. Is it an EPROM ECU?
It's hardly worth fixing that kind of damage on a non-EPROM ECU.
