small questions about my 99' eclipse

Hey i just got my 1999 eclipse i and i just have a few questions,

1) i'v seen alot of offers for spark plug wires what differince will it make?

2) when i hit the gas really hard and it revs up it sounds like its winding up a turbo but my car doesn't have a turbo?
3) are there any free or cheap mods that i can do for my car?

As for the turbo, look in the exhaust pipe. They might have bought one of those thigns that makes the turbo sound. If that's the case, yank it out and beware because if somone's willing to rice it like that, then they may have abused it badly.

Also with that noise you may want to check for a vacuum leak. My 96 esi does it(sounds cool) but it is a vacuum leak.
