ok well my car is coming off the road for winter so i can build it and save a crap load of insurance money, Now im wondering what steps should i take to takeing the car off the road

ie. removeing the battery? .... .etc......

also my center diff on my transmission went so im planning on finding another awd 96 tsi 5 speed transmission or should i just buy a new center diff?

Get some fuel stabilzer, change the oil, make sure the coolant is the right ratio, put some baking soda in the cabin, condition the interior... that should be about it.

I guess if you have the money buy new, but used could work. Get it checked out at a good trans shop before you install it though.

Drain the radiator, use a hair dryer to dry the area fully, and cover the hole in silicone. Let the silicone set up, refill rad.

Congratulations, you've completely bamboozled me with this one. What are you talking about?

Looks like I somehow posted this in the wrong thread ROFL If you come across one where the radiator drainplug is leaking you will no longer be bamboozled.
