Help: car wont start

hey my car died allof a sudden while crusing. First i thought it was just my alternator got that rebuilt but it still wont start the coils are fine i'm now in the process or checking my cam position sensor and crank position sensor but i'm not sure if this is my cps any advice would be much apreciated i'm stumped right now

I don't believe that is the sensor. Any type of sensor will have a plug going to an end of it. If your car just suddenly died, and won't start now, your timing belt probably snapped. You might want to check to see if it's there if you haven't already.

i'm not a retard my timing belt it fine and acutally was replaced about 5000km ago along with a new turbo head rebuild and new pistons (old owner let the belt snap and blew the turbo)

did you check for fuel and spark yet ?

Has the car run ok ever since? Are you sure when the timing belt snapped, that nothing else was damaged or anything like that? I wasn't stating that you are dumb, just making sure you checked. The fact that you're a "newbie" can send an inexperienced vibe to other members. Don't take it personally though, just trying to help

no offence taken DSMcrazy3. ya a shop did all the work then i bought the car and it ran fine cept squealing when cold (found out it was the alternator goin) for 3 weeks now nothin and ya i have fuel but no spark.

Check the coil pack to see if it's putting out the right voltage

coils puttin out a microscopic amount of voltage but it checks out ok for resistance it came up as 12.55 and 12.86 at 20k ohms setting

comon doesnt anybody have a clue if that is the sensor or not (inside red circle) or anymore tips on how to fix it my dads gonna make me take it to the stealership soon if it doesnt get fixed
